Visual Impairment North East is a registered charity that supports blind and partially sighted people in the Northeast of England and Cumbria. This site contains information on two of VINE's main activities.

Regional Directory
VINE produces a directory of educational, medical, social and other services available to the visually impaired in the region. The online version of this directory can be found by clicking on the graphic above.

Simulation Package
This package is available to buy and consists of several sets of spectacles, which when worn, can give some idea of what a visually impaired person may see. They help to identify some of the problems experienced by the visually impaired. Click on the graphic above to see more information.
